GDI Solution Co., Ltd. (CEO Hyungman Choi) announced its participation in the 'Korea International Safety&Health Show (KISS 2023)', held at Kintex, Goyang, Korea, from July 3rd (Mon) to July 6th (Thu).
GDI Solution Co., Ltd. established in February 2022, specializes in providing integrated and customized solutions, encompassing research & development, manufacturing, sales, and follow-up services for gas detectors as their primary business. Their focus is inventing IoT-based products to prevent gas-related safety accidents in various industrial areas, including confined spaces, plants, petrochemical facilities, and research establishments.
It differed from the past when people had to prepare and decide about safety accidents within a narrow range of fields. Cloud services allow safety accidents to be rapidly communicated and addressed across broader areas, with follow-up measures easily linked.
In this exhibition, they showcased the portable single-gas detector BELL MINI, fixed gas detectors, and flame detectors.
BELL MINI, scheduled to launch at the end of this year, is a single gas detector equipped with 16 different gas sensors. It is designed to protect workers from industrial accidents such as suffocation caused by toxic gas leakage, oxygen deficiency, or explosions and fires due to excess oxygen.
It supports administrators in monitoring in real-time by sharing detected data from fields to the web and smartphones based on up-to-date IoT technology. And besides, it's equipped with NFC (Near Field Communication) tag, making Bluetooth pairing easier.
Furthermore, a fixed gas detector is designed to safeguard people and assets from gas-related accidents by installing it on walls, pipes, pillars, and ceilings. GDI Solution collaborates with MSR from Germany to provide distribution and technical support.
The flame detectors are FGD models from the USA, designed to swiftly and accurately detect fire flames using optical technology. Video cameras can be built-in selectively, and they can help figure out the cause of the fire. They are also known for their excellent selectivity in minimizing non-fire alarms.
A representative from GDI Solution stated, "We opted for direct development to offer products essential for various fields - not just innovative and expensive options, or outdated technology-based products that are cheap. Instead, we provide solutions tailored to numerous industrial and corporate needs, focusing on gas safety."
"In the first half of this year, we have already sold approximately 2,000 units of MSR's 'PolyGard2' model to the ESS battery industry overseas, and we are currently preparing around 500 units for domestic use," he mentioned. "In addition to single gas detectors, we are actively developing a diverse range of integrated solutions based on multiple gas detectors and cloud services. We plan to introduce these comprehensive products shortly."
